Launched in 2004 by the UNDP’s Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery, the Caribbean Risk Management Initiative (CRMI) is a knowledge network designed to promote best practices and build capacity in the region in the fields of risk management and climate change adaptation. CRMI aims to provide a platform for sharing the experiences and lessons learned between different sectors, languages and cultural groups across the Caribbean in order to facilitate improved disaster risk reduction.
